Transferring the simplicity of social networking and social web services to the world of desktops and setting up the complex interaction of the overall system is one of the challenges of our generation. The targeted presentation and use of communication, and the tearing down of walls between applications, is a key component of our development.

The will to bring the complex interplay of various computer applications under a common denominator, initiates unexpected opportunities. By creating the right tools, we take a major step in the simplification of interactions between desktops and Internet-based services.

The Axonic Informationssysteme GmbH is a young company focused on information, communication and recognition. The company is based in Karlsruhe, Germany and was founded in 2003 by Martin Welker.

We have been developing software for more than 10 years in the areas of, knowledge discovery, information extraction and artificial intelligence. We also have many years of experience in business management, design and implementation of software projects. Since 2002 our research efforts focused on the area of “communication intelligence” – the targeted analysis, visualization, and simplifying communications.
