Can I add custom websites?
Yes, there are several ways. The best way is to call up the Web page on your browser and mark the address that you would like add to click.to. Then press Ctrl+C (for Mac-Users: ⌘+C) and select from the click.to menu “Add Action”. The link is now added to the window that opens automatically. Alternatively you can call up click.to on the taskbar and select in the options field the “Add Site” option. Here you can manually enter a web page.

Can I add custom searches?
Yes, to create search queries you first have to perform a search on a site. Once you perform the search, you can then check the link that now appears in your browser and press Ctrl+C (for Mac-Users: ⌘+C). Again, you add an action in click.to menu that now has the link, but you have to search through and find the word of your search. If you found it, you simply replace it with a Wildcard (= placeholder): “[Url Text]“.

Can I call up custom programs or applications?
Of course, all you do is click on the taskbar on the click.to icon and select “Options.” This opens a list of all actions added. There is a button called “Add Program”. If you choose this, you can use “Explorer Search” to add an .EXE file. The program now appears in your action list and you can easily call up the program with click.to.

I have my own application / API: Can I call up complex interfaces?
Yes, on our Developer Page you can find out how you address the click.to API and embed your own, more complex actions.

I updated to the latest version, but I can’t find any of the new actions. How do I get them?
Right click on the click.to icon in the lower right corner of your screen and select “Options”.
A window will open where you have to click on “Add…” on the right and another window will pop up. You can now see all the new actions under the menu item “Default actions”. Select them, click on “Add” and you are done.

You can now go on and customize click.to for your needs!
